On Jan 16, 2009 South Sound Base members presented a plaque and Certificate of Appreciation to South Puyallup Wal-Mart. Attending members were SSB Commander Don Mansfield, SSB Treasurer Mike Ellis, SSB COB Greg Lee and SSB PAO/Storekeeper John Mansfield.  Base Commander Don Mansfield gave the honors of presenting the items to SSB COB Greg Lee

Lakewood Grocery Outlet Store
Jan 19, 2009 South Sound Base Members Commander Don Mansfield, PAO/Storekeeper John Mansfield, COB Greg Lee and Secretary Ken Board presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Grocery Outlet Store in Lakewood. COB Greg Lee presented the certificate to store manager Ray Sigrist. This store donated $200 of canned goods for needy families for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
